=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-TOTAL IRRELEVANCE=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- MIDI Further Reading A Supplimentary document to the series of articles MIDI for Beginners by Kevan R.Craft. As a follow up to the series of MIDI articles, you will be pleased to know that I've prepared a reading list together with some useful addresses which may prove to be of some use for future reference. The first thing to remember, is that upon being presented with the concept of MIDI for the first time, the experience can be quite daunting to say the least. As a relative newcomer to the computer scene myself, I have only been using the computer together with a sequencer and MIDI hardware for about two years now and I would like to think that YOU too can also develop within a relatively short time to be able to produce MIDI compositions using this amazing technology. I would also like to recommend that you follow on from this series of articles on 'MIDI for Beginers'and gain more knowledge and information concerning MIDI from other sources. Indeed, there's a wealth of information concerning this area of making music in various publications that, for a resonable price, both specialize and simplify, but more importantly, explain the various aspects of MIDI for the concerned reader, whether you are technically compitant or just a beginner. In MIDI music and technology there is always something new to learn, the ever increasing sea of available synth hardware and computer software for the MIDI musician ensure the never ending quest for knowledge. I would like to think that as computer users we possess the perception to stimulate and make freely available communication, after all that's what music making is all about. And if musicians who exploit MIDI technology can share this knowledge then maybe the flow of music, which is a universal language, can be enjoyed by eveybody, both musicians and people who love listening to MUSIC alike...
